Project History

Bytes4Future started in December 2018 with a pilot initiative in Portugal, focusing on programming, aiming to connect young individuals who were neither working nor studying to the digital universe and the job market.

In 2021, we continued the project, launching Bytes4Future for all young people interested in UpSkilling ¹ in the technological and digital field.

So far, Bytes4Future has reached over 350 individuals, providing comprehensive professional preparation, with 80% of participants securing entry-level positions in the job market.

Currently, we have implementations in Portugal with training programs for Junior FullStack Developer, Data Analyst, and No Code Specialist. In Syria, we offer programs for Junior FullStack Developer, and in Mozambique, we have the Junior FullStack Developer program!

Junior Fullstack Developer

For whom:young people between the ages of 18 and 29 who are not studying or working, have basic knowledge of English and computer literacy and live close to where Bytes is taking place.

PowerUp - Acceleration Program

Necessary requirements to apply

Junior FullStack Developer
From 18 to 29 years old, not working nor studying, have basic knowledge of English and basic computer literacy, and you live in a municipality where Bytes takes place.

Minimum education level to apply

There is none! We need creative, committed and ambitious people!

Experience in the digital world

You don't need experience in design, nor programming, just a desire to learn!

Do I need to know English?

You must have basic English skills to be able to participate.

Do I need to know Portuguese?

You must have a basic knowledge of Portuguese to be able to participate.
